This Medical PC has the power and features of a 22" inch All in One PC but is the size of a tablet. It is fanless, with an Intel Quad Core J1900 CPU and 4GB DDR3L/1600MHz SO-DIMM upgradeable to 8GB. Available with optional Smart Card Reader, Barcode Scanner & RFID Reader.

Flexibility of Device Placement

Unlike the CyberMed M10 PoE Medical PC, traditional desktop PCs have to be located within six feet of a power outlet. The CyberMed M10 PoE Medical PC can run on Power over Ethernet giving medical facilities greater flexibility as to where the device can be located. Device placement is only limited by the length of the Ethernet cable which can be up to 328 feet long without any signal loss.

The CyberMed M10's use of Power over Ethernet allows for greater flexibility going forward as the device can be moved where needed rather than being limited to within six feet of a power outlet.

One Cord for both Power & Data

Instead of having multiple cables to deliver the data and the power to a computer, the CyberMed M10 PoE Medical PC uses only the Ethernet cord. No more unsightly and unsafe cables from the PC to the power outlet. One cable – that's it.

Medical facilities could place a computer in every patient room with only an Ethernet cable going to each device.

Low Power Consumption: The CyberMed M10 PoE Medical PC uses approximately half of the power of a traditional desktop computer. This is because of the highly efficient use of Power over Ethernet. Depending upon your configuration and usage, the cost to power an average desktop can run hundreds of dollars per year. Reducing by 50% the electrical costs of running your computers can result in significant savings particularly in hospitals where a device is often used 24x7. Current electrical costs of running computers in hospitals account for 4% of the hospital's total power costs. Cutting that 4% in half would be considerable.

Because of the CyberMed M10's use of PoE, there aren't any power cables except for the Ethernet cord. This reduces the risk of people tripping over cables and reduces cable clutter. The use of electrical cords and extension cords with standard PCs also increases the likelihood of shock or electrical fires. With the use of Power over Ethernet, the power to run computers comes via the Ethernet cable reducing the risk of electrical hazards.

Centralized UPS

With Power over Ethernet, having an internal battery on each device for power outages is not necessary. As long as the server is up, PoE computers will have power. This means, in the event of a power outage, the CyberMed M10 PoE Medical PC will still be powered.
