Backing up a computer's data is a fairly simple, straightforward process. For a small amount of files (documents, images, etc), an external storage method such as a USB Thumb Drive or one of the various types of Memory Cards available on the market should do just fine. For some larger backups it may be best to use DVD-R media in either single or dual layer formats; use a favorite CD/DVD writing program to back up data to an Optical Disc. For those who may have more back up needs than a DVD-R can provide, an External Hard Drive is the best option. There are many sizes and types available to choose from.
