Jendamark USA Builds Smarter Assembly Lines with Cybernet Industrial Panel PCs

Jendamark Automation has spent more than three decades designing and building turnkey assembly lines for the global automotive industry. Since 1989, the company has delivered more than 3,000 automotive assembly systems to over 100 customers across 35+ countries, specializing in powertrain, catalytic converter, electric vehicle, and hydrogen component assembly lines for OEMs and their Tier 1 suppliers. In 2023, Jendamark expanded into the United States, opening an office in Auburn Hills, Michigan the heart of the Detroit automotive corridor. Jendamark USA, LLC now serves as the company's North American base for sales, engineering support, and system deployment. Beyond building the physical assembly lines themselves, Jendamark develops its own suite of Industry 4.0 software, branded under its Odin Manufacturing division. Modules like WorkStation guide operators step by step through the build process on the shop floor, tracking process data, running diagnostics, and maintaining traceability for quality review. A companion module, LineWatch, gives plant managers a live view of production status across every station, integrating with systems like SAP to flag problems before they cause downtime. Software this central to a production line is only as good as the hardware running it. That's where Cybernet came in.

Every one of Jendamark's assembly stations needs a terminal on the floor where an operator can see work instructions, confirm each build step, and feed data back into the line's quality and traceability systems. That terminal has to survive conditions a typical office PC never sees: continuous multi-shift operation, vibration from nearby machinery, dust, and the wear of being touched hundreds of times a day by gloved hands.

As Jendamark scaled its U.S. operations to serve automotive and Tier 1 customers directly from Michigan, it needed an industrial panel PC platform that could:

  • Run demanding, real-time shop-floor software (WorkStation, LineWatch, and Jendamark's Cube PLC integration) reliably around the clock
  • Withstand the shock, vibration, and continuous-duty conditions of an automotive assembly line
  • Scale across many stations on a single line, and across many lines shipped to different customer plants
  • Be sourced from a manufacturer able to work directly with Jendamark's engineers on configuration, rather than treat it as an off-the-shelf commodity purchase

The G Series is built specifically for this kind of environment: fanless cooling to eliminate a common point of mechanical failure, military-grade shock and vibration testing, and a design proven for continuous, mission-critical operation. The G24's 23.8" 1080p (or optional 1440p) multi-touch display gives operators a clear view of WorkStation's guided build instructions, while modern Intel processor options and legacy I/O support let the units connect into both new plant infrastructure and the older equipment automotive lines often run alongside.

Jendamark has moved quickly to standardize on the platform, integrating units directly into the assembly systems it builds and ships to its own automotive and Tier 1 customers a strong signal that the G Series has become a standard line item in Jendamark's system builds rather than a one-off purchase.
