Source-Ray Upholds Medical-Grade Quality with Cybernet PCs

As a manufacturer of mobile X-ray systems, Source-Ray faces stiff global competition from lower-cost companies. Rather than competing on price, Source-Ray has always focused on quality and reliability, aiming to deliver a better product and overall customer experience. This approach, however, faced a critical obstacle: their UC-5000 mobile X-ray machine required a high-quality, compact medical-grade computer with IEC 60601 certification. If possible, they also wanted to source the computer from a fellow American manufacturer to maintain their commitment to quality and supply chain continuity.  

Source-Ray discovered Cybernet Manufacturing and our range of medical panel PCs. Not only did Cybernet’s medical-grade computers boast IEC 60601 certification to help ensure their safety and reliability, but the slim design of the panel PC saved space and reduced weight, making it perfect for a mobile system that would have to move from place to place. The panel PC’s capacitive touchscreen also eliminated the need for a mouse and keyboard, further reducing the device's weight and space requirements. 

Since its first order in 2016, Source-Ray has continued to rely on Cybernet for medical-grade computers on its mobile X-ray systems. Throughout their service, Source-Ray has never reported a major technical issue or breakdown with the computers serving on their systems, a testament to the reliability of Cybernet’s devices. The IEC 60601 certification and software compatibility of Cybernet’s computers also make it easier to implement Source-Ray’s devices in even the most demanding medical environments. 

Having recently upgraded to the CyberMed G24 and CyberMed G22, Cybernet’s latest model of medical panel PC, Source-Ray is committed to continuing to use Cybernet’s products on their UC-5000 mobile X-ray systems for the foreseeable future.
