Batery Powered Medical Computer

Battery Power

To revolutionize and simplify your workflow, we've ditched the cumbersome power cables and bulky cart-mounted batteries for a sleek solution. Here's how it transforms your operations:

  • 40% Cost Savings: A battery-powered computer paired with a non-powered cart costs substantially less than a traditional computer and powered cart on average.

  • Lightweight Advantage: Our computers, when used with non-powered carts, are lighter than powered carts, making your rounds and patient care more effortless and efficient.

  • Seamless Battery Swaps: Hot-swappable batteries mean there's no need to find an AC outlet to plug into, giving you the freedom to move anywhere.

Battery Powered Medical Computer in Operating Room

Fanless Cooling

Our battery-powered medical computers are a cut above the rest. While most computers rely on noisy, dust-spreading fans, we've adopted fanless cooling solutions that revolutionize your computing experience without the need for ventilation holes, preventing both infection control issues and thermal failure due to dust blocking units that include fans.

  • Quiet Operation: Enjoy a focused healthcare environment where noise won't be a distraction.

  • Rock-Solid Reliability: With no moving parts, our fanless design deliver exceptional reliability.

  • Dust-Free: Protect the PC's most vulnerable components from dust damage.

Trusted by

We had worked with Cybernet before on our North Tower project, which was a huge success. Based on that relationship, it was really easy to put our trust in Cybernet for our cart project and anesthesia project. We couldn't be happier with the early results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can the CyberMed GB Series computer save up to 40% compared to traditional powered carts and a Dell/HP computer?

On average, the price for a non-powered cart with a CyberMed GB Series unit is under $3,800 for the set, whereas a lithium-powered cart with a consumer Dell PC and 22” monitor is roughly $5,800 for the set. This yields a 40% cost savings in favor of our CyberMed GB Series unit on a non-powered card.

How can the batteries in the CyberMed GB Series last longer compared to powered carts?

On a powered cart, electricity must go through several conversions before it can safely power the PC, monitor, or other peripherals. In fact, 35% of the cart's power capacity is lost in these conversions! Our batteries blend the latest lithium-ion technologies with smart controlled DC power to the computer and other devices on the cart, so there is no lost power from DC to AC/AC to DC conversions.

Why should I buy a medical-grade computer versus a Dell or HP computer?

Opting for a medical-grade computer ensures enhanced patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and suitability for the unique demands of healthcare environments, making it the preferred choice for medical applications. You can learn more about medical-grade computers and why they're superior to regular computers in our in-depth analysis.

Can the batteries be swapped out during operation?

Yes. The CyberMed GB Series features multiple battery ports, each of which is hot-swappable. This means the batteries can be replaced without interrupting the computer's operations.

How will the users know when each battery is running low and it's time to hot-swap?

The CyberMed GB Series features individual battery indicators that are either green (good) or amber (low charge) on the front of the screen. This allows healthcare providers to quickly check all of the units in an area without having to log in to each computer individually. But for users who wish to see the exact percentages of each battery, simply logging in to the operating system will display each battery's current charge level.

Can you power external devices from the CyberMed GB Series computers?

Yes. Leveraging our DC out technology, the CyberMed GB Series battery-powered medical computer can power a wide range of scanners, printers, cameras, and custom devices that require up to 27W of power.

Does the CyberMed G Series support Windows 11?

Yes. The processor and related components are ready for Windows 11 and fully supported.

Do you provide drivers compatible with Microsoft Configuration Manager?

Yes. Cybernet publishes Microsoft Configuration Manager drivers on our support page. Should you have any questions, simply reach out to our support team for prompt assistance.
