An incredibly unique medical grade all in one computer, the CyberMed M12 can be powered over ethernet so there's no need for a traditional power outlet. This allows facilities to deploy this device where running conduits and AC power line isn't an option.
The CyberMed M12 is an extremely unique medical computer in that it can be powered over Ethernet. While this device can be powered through a traditional outlet, the ability to power the device over an ethernet connection makes this device much more versatile.
But the low power draw doesn't mean this healthcare computer can't get the job done. The CyberMed M12 features a powerful Intel Quad Core processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and stunning integrated Intel HD graphics that accommodate modern healthcare applications.
This hospital computer's compact design and small footprint are perfect for space constrained areas, like a patient room, exam room, hallway alcove, or small wall cabinet. It is universal VESA mount compatible, allowing it to easily be placed on a wall mount or an arm mount.
Finally, because it can be powered over Ethernet, you aren't limited to mounting the CyberMed M12 next to a power outlet. Anywhere that is wired with Cat6 is a potential place to mount this unit. This also reduces cable clutter, speeds up deployment and integration time, and creates less points of failure to troubleshoot for the system overall.
Despite it's compact size, the CyberMed M12 can be connected to and integrated with a variety of different types of hardware. This is especially important in a hospital where a unit may need to connect with patient monitors, medical equipment or even 3rd party peripherals in order to get the job done.
The CyberMed M12 has 4 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI out port, two LAN ports, and an RS-232 port for maximum adaptability.
An optional integrated RFID, smart card, or fingerprint reader can be added to the unit for secure single sign on, facilitating multi-factor authentication or easy-to-use RFID badges or smart cards. An optional integrated barcode scanner is another feature that can be added to this unit to expand functionality.
This unit can be mounted bedside in a patient room or on a patient table and be used as a patient engagement device. And because of its small footprint it can easily be moved out of the way when doctors or nurses are doing examinations.
In addition to being antimicrobial and IP65 rated for easy disinfection, the CyberMed M12 is engineered with fanless cooling technology to further mitigate the risk of spreading germs.
By using lower power consumption components and fewer internal moving parts in our medical computers, Cybernet is able to utilize fanless cooling technology. By eliminating the fan, we eliminate a common source of nosocomial infections (infections spread in a hospital). Traditional fans not only suck in air, but also blow it out. This makes the spread of disease much more likely. Fanless cooling technology eliminates this threat.
