Take advantage of the extensive I/O ports and PCI-e expansion slots to customize this embedded PC to fit your specific job.
The iPC R2ix is a smaller form factor than many rugged mini computers. It fits comfortably in very small spaces. However, it does not lack processing power or features. It has an Intel 4th Generation i5 or i7 CPU which is powerful enough to handle any processing task. This embedded computer is very adaptable to your needs with the additional USB ports, serial ports, and the two Mini PCI-e expansion slots. An optional mounting bracket and 19" rack mounting option allows you to embed this computer virtually anywhere.
The military grade components of the iPC R2ix allow this embedded PC to endure more extreme conditions than an ordinary PC can survive. The iPC R2ix is shock resistant, vibration resistant and it is a better value than other embedded computers with the same features. The iPC R2ix can operate in temperatures up to 70 degrees C / 158 F. The device easily adapts to extreme fluctuations in temperature from very cold to very hot. It handles humid environments without pause.
The iPC R2ix can be fully customized, making it the ideal device for use in harsh working environments with specialized needs. Users can decide the amount of RAM, operating system and storage capacity that best suits their needs. The iPC R2ix can be further customized with dual SSD drives and configured as either RAID solution or simply extra storage and backup. Two Mini PCI-e expansion slots may be used to add additional features like a hardware raid controller card. Legacy USB 2.0 and serial ports support external peripherals that may otherwise not be supported on new USB 3.0 ports.
With two HDMI ports, the iPC R2ix embedded computer has dual display mode capability. You can use mirror mode to have the same data on two different monitors. This is important if you need people seeing the same information in multiple locations. You can also use the dual display mode in extended desktop mode with different information being shown on each screen.
